| I have been running Quickbooks 2004 for a while now. About a year ago I developed an error while using the "Ask a question" function. I contacted tech support, and they stated that I had to pay a fee to find out why their product didn't work correctly any longer. I checked, double checked and tripple checked that auto update was on, and manually made sure that my software was 100% updated, which the updater said it was. | In response to questions regarding TurboTax & Spyware.
Judge for yourself before buying this product by doing a search using "turbotax" and "C-Dilla". Look at the results from legitimate sites... I will not purchase any product from any company who uses or has used hidden spyware of this caliber in their products. PLEASE do the same. Money talks very loud. | I have a contracting business building new residential houses and I am not an accountant by anymeans. This program is really geared to the contractor that has alot of customers, as a home builder I only have 1 customer, the person that buys my house, and I don't invoice anybody, I'm the one always getting invoiced, so for this program to work for me, I had to fool it in a few places. | You would think that simply emailing an invoice to your clients would be a standard feature. However this is not the case. The option to 'Email Invoice' is available, but when chosen, launches browser and attempts to log into Intuit Business Services wherein the Login Failed, service not supported.
Also, the invoice templates are ugly, amateurish looking and not easily customizable. At this price you would expect more. This software is definitely for the novice business user. Use Peachtree ... Read More: |

| We have been using Quicken since 1993 to track our personal income, expenses and investments. Currently using Quicken 2006. The application is very stable (never had a crash) and free of bugs. Each revision has added many useful tools. The learning curve is not too steep but, as with any application that does a lot, one has to expect to acquire knowledge of its use. We highly recommend it. |

| Turbo Tax state is an essential addendum to the federal version. With the same ease of use -- in Q & A format -- as Turbo Tax, Turbo Tax state transfers your data from your federal return to the state. It takes the mental taxation of the process and turns it into a few easy keystrokes.
