| Have been using Turbo Tax for close to 20 years, used Parsons Tax Edge first. The product has always worked well for me and it sure beats the old fashion paper and pencil method. |

| I didn't feel as though I had any choice in buying this software. I don't see a lot of other programs that offer the same capabilities in bookkeeping and payroll. But I can't say I am all that thrilled with it. In particular, I keep getting weird pop up windows saying windows is compacting the message store, whatever that means. There are a few other weird bugs too, like it crashes when trying to save as PDF or export to email.

| TurboTax may or may not be a good product; I was never able to successfully download it!
Unfortunately I needed it the day I purchased it, and the "Help" offered by the Amazon.com links were not specific enough to identify the source of the trouble. After three hours I gave up and requested a refund. |

| I have used Turbo Tax for many years. To say that this version is a disappointment is an understatement. Let's not mince words, this product is garbage. Run, do not walk, away from it. It deserves zero stars.
Bug ridden, terrible interface, no support. It is March 10 and a bug they (finally) acknowledged in February is still not fixed and apparently never will be. Nothing important, just the program not applying deductions to your return raising your tax payment. You know, minor stuff. ... Read More: |

"I have been a Quicken user since it was a DOS application back in the mid `80s. It has always been a very good and reliable product. However: Quicken 2006 is by far the worst release of Quicken Intuit has ever produced. " Today it cannot even print a simple report, while all other software on my system is functioning with out problems. This just proves software should not be purchased on past history alone... |

| I have been using TurboTax for many years, and each year their product gets more invasive, less functional, and much harder to install. This year it finally reached the point of being negative utility (i.e., worth far less than the hassle).
I am a little suspicious of any program that requires administrator access to run, but that's another matter. Once the TurboTax is running, it opens up all kinds of application ports and tries to phone home, claiming it needs 'updates' to run. Their product did the same thing last ... Read More: |
