| I've been doing genealogy on and off for years, and haven't used FTM for a while. I've been rebuilding my family history [...] and decided it was time to get desktop software, and decided to get FTM 2009 because I figured it would make things easier to switch back and forth. | All in all it's just okay. Sometimes the view of the table is completely obscured by the lamp in the game. Also some of the functions on a few of the games from 2008 have been removed (such as being able to review previous hands in a bridge game). |

| All my friends and family love the cards I create using Printmaster. It is very user friendly. I love importing family pictures into my cards and Printmaster has a great photo editing feature. It provides a ton of colors, images, borders, etc. There are so many creative options available, that only my imagination holds me back. I have purchased Printmaster for my two daughter-in-laws. I highly recommend this product. |

| Installed the program and first run got a pop-up telling me that my machine was using large fonts and that items wouldn't display properly unless I changed to small fonts and rebooted my machine. I have a vision problem and have to use large fonts. Unfortunately, I had to send the program back. |

| I just upgraded to FTM 2009 from a 1996 version and I am so thankful I did. New capabilities, new tools and much more intuitive. This is really going to help my family tree work. My entire family is excited about searching for their ancestors, their history and FTM 2009 gives us the tools we need and the professional results we want. |

| I thought it was a fairly good product. It was easy and fun to use, it was more like a kid's computer game than an adult product. Which could be a good or bad thing depending on your preferences. It did help me learn to type better I'm at 47 words a minute verses the 18 when I started. It has a Spanish language mode and even teaches you the numeric keys. So all in all I give it a 4 out of 5. |

| This program is just "OK". I actually don't like it as well as my 2005 version, but was told that 2005 wouldn't work with Vista and sooner or later I'm going to have to upgrade to Vista.
I don't think they have much improved the program at all. They have added a game or two and the "Big Bang" games are fun but not to many of them in the game, at least that I like to play. Not sure I'd have bought it had I know what ie was like. Most of the interface on this one is pretty much like the 2005 version I already had. Read More: |
