| This is a great program that I've been using since it first came out. I usually skip a Rev or two when upgrading though and then wait till it goes on sale. I really only use the basic features for my needs the majority of the time, but there's lot's here for the pro with MANY plug-ins available from others. Has great output on my Epson and HP printers. |

| After installing and playing around with these programs I decided to wait for the holidays to post a review. My son studied film editing in college, created a music video which made it to the web, and prepares special features for a large church in the Phoenix area. | This software would not install at all on my Intel-based Aluminum iMac running Leopard 10.5.6. I was able to get it to install on a PowerPC G5 running Leopard 10.5.6, however, it is barely usable due to constant crashes. I'm very disappointed. |

| I'm impressed with the program, but one such as this merits a manual for effective use. The price certainly justifies the printing costs. I had to buy an "aftermarket" book so as to be reasonably sure I'd get the full good of the program. |

| I bought Lightroom mainly to help me organize pictures and to touch pictures up before printing and framing. LR did not let me down in those respects. LR is very flexible, providing the functionality for you, but allowing you to customize it to fit your own work flow.
I organized over 8000 photos that had no organization prior to this in only a few hours time. LR automatically sorted the photos for me into the folder arrangement I wanted. So, those few hours were spent tagging the 8000 photos with people, subjects ... Read More: |

| We use ACROBAT 9 STANDARD for scanning to PDF, Printing WORD, EXCEL, AUTOCAD, etc. to PDF, updating PDF plans and PDF forms using the typewriter function and combining PDF Files to allow Plan Submittals to be one PDF file. ACROBAT 9 STANDARD performs all this quickly and easily and is much less expensive then ACROBAT Professional and requires much less effort then other PDF transfering software. The only problem that I found was that our multifunction RICOH 2020 could not scan directly to ACROBAT 9 STANDARD and I think this is a RICOH problem. |

| I ordered this because I am a huge fan of Adobe Photoshop Elements 7, which is the scaled down, consumer-level version of Photoshop. While I find Photoshop incredibly difficult and time consuming to use, Elements just sails along, able to do quick tasks like cropping and color-correcting in minutes, instead of hours.
So, I had high hopes for the Elements version of Premiere, which in this release is bumped up to Version 7 to match the Photoshop version. Unfortunately I didn't find it as easy to use as I had hoped. Part of this may be ... Read More: |

| Well I have not learned everything that it has to offer but I was forced to upgrade (I don't usually do that until I absolutely have to) but the option to open up a jpg in Raw made it worth the price of admission.
ALSO a cool thing is that once you have opened that jpg in CS4, if you then open it in CS3 it will open in RAW. Very cool! No complaints. |
