| I was always happy with Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 on my older XP system. However it did not work at all when I got a new PC with Vista. I purchased 6.0 and it works beautifully with Windows Vista. Plus I feel the features are nicer than v3.0. 3.0 always seemed a bit quirky but dozens of little annoyances seem to have disappeared with this version. I do a lot of photo editing and this program works sweet! |

| Nice piece of software, but is limited. I have worked with several of the Adobe products and all do a nice job by allowing the user to make adjustments to photos. Personally, I thought this was a little pricey for the options that it gave. I was hoping that I could do all of my adjustments within the framework of this software, but instead find myself importing and exporting my photo from one piece of software to another. iPhoto even has several options that this doesn't. | lightroom 2 appears to be a great product however it is slow freezes needs more work on it reading the blogs on 2.1 needs much more work wait for six months until you purchase |

| After using Photoshop for years, Lightroom 2 is my tool of choice for most areas of photo editing. The slideshow is very accurate in tone, contrast and detail, much better than Bridge. I like the non-destructive element and being able to go back at any time and undo work done in previous sessions without having to create the memory hogging layers of Photoshop. | I don't know what that user above is going on about. Maybe it's time they upgrade their computer and/or scanner and stop trashing the software. I have been using Acrobat 9 for several months now and have had no problems at all - it does not run slow and I have gotten no error messages.
It does have several new features that may not be used by your *average* user, but I would not consider something bloatware just because I do not use a particular feature or features. But even with that said, it is unfortunate that ... Read More: |
