| I bought this, installed it and wish I never had. It slows down your system, is not intuitive to use and does not do what it says it can do on the box. I bought it to convert .m2ts files and this was a nightmare. They don't tell you that you can only convert 10 at a time on the box. If you try more the program crashes - and then you need to call tech support to ask why. Further, they want $1.25 for customer service support, which you can't find on line. | It seems like a good video editing product - unfortunately I can't use it yet. Nowhere in the Amazon listing and only in VERY tiny print on the box does it say that you have to already have a video capture card on your PC. Well, I guess you can use the USB or firewire input but that doesn't help me import videos from older cameras or VCRs, which is why I bought it in the first place. Not such a good bargain like I thought it was. |

| I've been on the Final Cut Express (FCE) bandwagon since the very first version, when I needed something bigger than iMovie to do an amateur movie. Well, now it's at version 4, and I've gone from Amateur to Advanced Semi-Pro, partially because of FCE.

| I was waiting for a program like this. Whenever I burned disks I wished that I could do batch processing for video files, especially since they need encoding. If not conversion, then at least compression too. I can tag the files and let them run instead of checking after each file is done and tagging the next. Burning has come down to one click too. This is the easiest program I've tried in spite of the numerous features. Toast doesn't have the editing programs that the pc equivalent does, EMC so I do much of editing ... Read More: |

| I started using Final Draft7 immediately. The instructions were simple; the tutorial was practical and effective. I was able to begin the work on my screenplay in a short period of time. It is easy to use. I did my outline in WORD and wish I'd had Final Draft from the beginning.

| I've been using Movie Magic for over 15 years and lemme tell you this is the worst version ever! It's amazing, but they've screwed up so much in this "new & improved" version that it's almost not worth reviewing (let alone buying). Large chunks of what you're writing will suddenly vanish from the screen because of a margin wraparound bug; call tech support and they'll tell you not to worry because it's not really gone - it's just not there on the screen. | I love this product. I am a novice and this product has put a studio at my fingertips. I'm so overwhelmed but everything seems pretty simple with easy to understand help/tutorials. I have already made four quick songs and downloaded them into my mp3 for the gym. Now i need more loops, a keyboard, a microphone, a camera, a video camera and some turntables. So many ideas and so little time.
