| I thought I loved my eee PC until I got this. The eee PC 901 has a similar configuration: Atom processor, 8.9 inch screen and 6 cell battery, similar size/weight and 1 GB RAM. But the Acer Aspire One is a lot more comfortable to use. The larger keyboard makes it feel similar to a regular keyboard and the hard drive space is nice because you can have the same files and programs that are on your regular computer. | I love this netbook.I added 1GB of RAM [Not a must,but you can never be too thin,too rich and have too much RAM]Had a problem getting the 2GB recognized,recognized the 2GB module as 1GB.Had to go into BIOS,All AOK now.The resolution is fine,battery life about 3 1/2 hours.I got a netbook Skin from [...] and it looks [...] with a NICE padded case also.I now run the gamut in sizes,8.9,15.6 and 17. |

| Basically beware. You WILL have to do a complete clean install. Once you do so, many applications that formally worked fine, will no longer. Some will not even work with the new system. Many apps will need to you re-install, others will ask you again for serial numbers and activations. Make sure you have all those numbers handy. Sorry for those who have "borrowed" applications, chances are, you'll never be able to use them again.

| I had an HP 3320 before buying my new HP Photosmart 4480 and the ink for both printers lasted a long time and are of very good quality. The Vivera inks are great quality for photos and time will tell how long the photos actually last. |

| Let's start with this, I love this machine, is small, compact, beautiful and powerful. It runs cold, it's easy to carry and it's easy to work with it. Running Mac OS X, Windows or Linux every task is a breeze. The 2.4ghz processor is fast and runs cold. The 2gigs of ram is sufficient for my daily tasks, but for more powerful multitasking upgrade to 4 gigs. The machine have all the connectivity i need, sans firewire, but I can live without firewire. Beware this machine will hurt relationships!! |
