| If you play the game regularly, sure it's convenient to sign up with the bliz plans. But, why pay the tax bliz charges when you can pay the same rate (or better, if you normally go shorter plans) by getting this from Amazon? Always makes a great gift, and never spoils in the mail.
Plus, with the recent release of the expansion (Wrath of the Lich King), your gamer may need a few of these. |

| It's a pretty sick game. The RvR is like no other... WoW can never beat the PvP aspects of this game. WotLK might beat it, but I've never played, and i dont think im going back to WoW. While all wow players grind their new levels and grind for gear and grind for gear, did i mention grind for gear? I will be slaughtering those pesky bright wizards.
dont get me wrong, WoW has great pve content... if you dont mind wiping hundreds of times and farming for gold. WAR is all about the RvR and gold comes easy. Got ... Read More: |

| I have played this game for around two years and have multiple level 70 characters and thoroughly enjoy it. However the game is broken (as of october 2008) and unplayable at the moment due to horrendous lag issues and server shut downs. Check out the forums for more information, well no information really, but you'll see the scale of the problem:
My advice is avoid this game and the new expansion pack Wrath of the Lich King like the plague until the game becomes playable again. Just thought I'd save you some dollars ... Read More: |

| This is a pay to play game. You have to start paying as soon as you get online. What a genius buisness model. You start by giving them your credit card and like a taxi the minutes buzz by on a meter. You are about $30 in before you get past level one. I think you should just burn dollar bills instead. I would rather pay $60 1 x for a new game then 100's for some subscription. |

If you're looking at getting into this game, avoid it for now. There are several other mmorpgs coming out that I'm considering picking up now. When I first started playing this game two years ago it was fun, challenging, and custormer service was good. As of November 2008, the realms are down daily, the patches have made the game easier and easier (Quest objects sparkle from across the map, instead of actually having to LOOK for them), classes are unbalanced (they constantly ... | While I know next to nothing about MMOs, I've seen some footage and read lots about this game and will share it.
The graphics look really good, from what I've seen, and the gameplay looks fun and fierce! The two new classes seem to really expand on the original ("The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar". The ability to make your weapon legendary intrigues me and it seems like it'll be a big hit!
