I had the earlier version of money and it did very well. This version is very problematic. It is full of bells and whistles which override your entries. Finally, it eliminated all the content from my money file, costing me 10 months of entries and work. |

| The YNAB Pro Software is the best financial software package I have used. I especially like the fact that there is a website forum that the author maintains in order to support his customers where they can ask questions after they purchase the software. The software can also be easily customized when it comes to adding or removing categories. |

| Money 2004 is a useful tool for organizing income and expenses. It helps track and project repetitive items. I've used it for a month; while it has many aspects/processes to use, it is easily maintained using only those that you want. Great value for the price. |

| I was a bit disappointed with this version of Money - my older version (2002) on my old XP computer was so much easier to use than this one. When setting up my bills I noticed that this new version for my Vista machine wont allow me to select anything besides "check" as form of payment if I dont have my banking set up through Money. Well, my bank is a small local bank and I can download daily if I want to but it will not ALLOW on-line interface with Money, so now I can't set my bills up the way I had in my old Money. ... | I had been using Microsoft Money 2003 fr quite some time and decided a change was needed when Money kept hassling me to update. The final straw was when Money stopped updating my stock quotes.
I had read about Quicken, but wasn't sure what to expect. After using this version for three months, I feel that both Microsoft and Quicken's products are awful. | Poor programming. Importing feature make errors repeatedly. Have to reinstall several times to get working with errors caused by quicken. Error messages blame financial institution but turns out to be quicken error. Overall I do not recommend quicken and wish I had read the rest of these comments before buying in the first place. |
