| I build and service computers. I have made plenty of money cleaning up or converting computers which had Norton on. I used and recommended PC-Cillin for many years until about 2006. Trend Micro has fallen from its lone pedestal and now believes in poor to no service when you need help. In 2007 and 2008, their program has been ignoring many malwares and does not do a very good job of cleaning up infected systems. | If you have any issues with installation; too bad, the VMware website only offers help at a rate of $99 a year (for one incident). I bought this software because I heard Parallels was crashy, and I had Bootcamp previously on my computer, but found it annoying to reboot in order to use different programs. So after replacing a worn out hard drive, I thought Fusion would be the perfect solution since I had to reinstall Windows anyway.

| This is my 3rd Dragon; the others were merely good but this version #10 is really excellent. Very brief training time, high accuracy (unless you slur your words) and easy commands. Highly recommended. |

| I tried this on a new XP computer with no extra software nor any spy/virus detection software installed. The backup proceedure though simple, does not work with custom options, A "complete" backup to an external drive or media may work but takes alot of disk space. If you desire not to backup certain files or folders the application fails. Restoration is another issue. | This is a good suite, filled with the basic necessities for secure PC use. It does not seem to slow down my computer, but I have a screaming machine, so if you have an older machine or a lot of junk on your computer, it may not be as smooth running. Also, I have to say that there is a lot of free security software that will do the job as well, but you will have to download at least two programs to have the same security as the McAfee suite. | I've purchased and tried to use Dragon Naturally Speaking 9. Terrible experience, terrible product. I've been using many, many software products longer than I would care to remember. Without a doubt, this company has the worst customer support I have ever seen. Never was able to use it.
Please do yourself a favor and save yourself a lot of aggravation. Keep away from anything this company produces. |

| We have been running McAfee on our home PC for about 3 years now. Up until this latest edition came out we've been fairly pleased with the product. This latest version only allowed the purchase option of three licenses, which I'm sure already added to the overpricing of this software. I only need one license for our home PC. This latest annoyance got me looking around. McAfee does work very well but from what I understand it doesn't trust the Window's firewall and wants to use its own.
