| Late to the party, I wanted to make sure that Apple had ironed out the kinks in the latest OS update.
For the most part, the update works great for end-users. However, I run a mail and web server on a Mac Mini that I applied the upgrade to, and once again, all the configuration files for file sharing, Apache and Postfix were altered and no indication was given that they would have to be re-edited to work with the newer versions of the open source tools. | Of all the MS Windows(R) versions, this is the one I have liked best. Yet, it still gets only 2 stars? The "bang-for-buck" ratio is too low. MS Windows versions are too expensive for what they provide. It is time to consider the better alternative, Ubuntu 8.04 DVD. |

| There is an important difference when buying software over the counter: it is much more expensive then buying it with a computer. I bought for the company two Dell Vostro systems for roughly 300 USD each and that included normal production desktops for office use and those included Vista Business. So think before you buy because over the counter OS distributions from Windows are expensive.

| I haven't found much worth upgrading for. It was difficult to find things with the new toolbars. I have used this product for over a year now and still can't find some things I want that I used to have readily available on the old tool bars. I think MS should have REAL PEOPLE test their products for ease of use rather than programmers or whatever they use. Wish they had help files that really helped. |

| Despite what the label suggests, this is not an SP1 upgrade. It is an upgrade of Vista which happens to include SP1. This is not a low-cost version of Vista. You have to buy the full package AND the upgrade.... |

| Well, I wish I had a chance to read these reviews on Amazon before I bought it. I have had a macbook pro since 2006. It worked so well, i decided to go for a iMac and mobile me. The downdraft of Vista and the problems with that system motivated me to try something different from the Microsoft monopoly.

| Microsoft forces it down people's throats by trying to stop XP support & coercing comp manufacturers into exclusively offering Vista, but now they're trying to change their tone. Don't buy Mojave ads and don't buy Vista.
Vista is obsessed with looks. Unfortunately the resource-hog features like Aero (semi-transparent borders? really?) don't help productivity. | I purchased this product to install it on my MacBook using Boot Camp. I carefully followed the Boot Camp Assistant instructions and successfully partitioned the disk and installed Windows XP without a glitch. To me this is the lowest cost way to have XP on an Intel based Mac if you can live with the hard boot required to switch between OSs. |

| Great product as always. Good value for money. The only negative is the blue background option has been removed, but if you're happy working with a white screen, this won't bother you. Otherwise, a worthwhile upgrade. |
