| Basically beware. You WILL have to do a complete clean install. Once you do so, many applications that formally worked fine, will no longer. Some will not even work with the new system. Many apps will need to you re-install, others will ask you again for serial numbers and activations. Make sure you have all those numbers handy. Sorry for those who have "borrowed" applications, chances are, you'll never be able to use them again.

| I am a previous owner of Parallels 3.0, but I wanted to run some of the new games that Parallels 3.0 didn't support. So I purchased VMware 2.0 about a month ago, not knowing when the new version of Parallels would be available. Ugh! Needless to say, I should definitely have waited. | I see lots of complaints on these and other boards. I have used this service since it's inception. Sure there are some bugs and annoyances. But it does the basic job.
I have two desktops, one laptop and an ipod touch all synced with MobileMe. (Though I do hate that name.) Any change on any one device automatically gets sent to all other devices. |

| Parallels has really gone above and beyond my expectations with 4.0.

| I like the Leopard, and I have shared it with family members who also have a MAC. They agree that it is easy to use. The only thing I had to do...that I'm aware of ... is update RealPlayer. But that was very easy. This has some interesting ways of reminding me of things, and there are still some things I can't find. But I'm a slow learner, and I have to get with my "tutor" to be able to upgrade my brain. But so far, I have not found anything I don't like about it. |

| Mobile me Rocks. Although most of what I wanted to do I could have done with a single unit, I used the family pack to give one to my brother and one to my sister to use in their families. The sharing of the calendar and contacts is great within the family. And since we all use different computers some apple some dell it makes them all share this stuff together. Its just what we needed. |

| I've had Parallels 3.0 for about a year now. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone.
Not only does running my Win XP virtual machine constantly crash my MacBook Pro (I have to do a hard reboot), but I also frequently get out of virtual memory Monitor PE error messages. I have 4GB of RAM!!!! I have to reboot my MacBook and restart Parallels to get it going again. I emailed Parallels' tech support when I first got the product and NEVER heard back from them. Finally, various manufacturers' drivers CD auto installers will not run ... Read More: |

| A couple months ago, i got a new PC and something went wrong when trying to transfer all my music to the new computer. I had 900 songs on my iPod, but none on my computer. Using PD Rescue, i got all the song back and it only took about and hour for the whole process!! The program is easy to use and does what its supposed to. I had no problems!! THANKS PD RESCUE!!!! |

| There WERE boot problems with some Intel Mac models running newer Leopard versions when Drive Genius 2 was first released, caused by Apple's footdragging and their delayed release of required startup parameters. However, all other Drive Genius 2 features were and are functional. Prosoft Engineering was head and shoulders above other utility software vendors (who shall remain unnamed) in their response to the fix with the release of v2.0.3.
