| This new release suffers from three main issues:
1) Speed. 2) Speed. It's dreadfully slow. A coworker and I are running the NEW MacBook Pro high end (2.53GHz) laptops, machines released just a few weeks ago and Office 2008 is quite slow. | If you are updating a previous Quicken file be sure to back up your data on a CD before installing this version on your computer. It has serious bugs and can wipe out all or part of your data. Intuit is issuing update on this version online to correct the problems but it may not correct the flaws. |

| Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac was purchased as an upgrade. I work as an editor and publisher of niche publications and it is necessary for me to have recent versions of software to serve my clients.
That said, this is the slowest, most memory-sucking MS Office yet. The performance on a G5 2.0 Dual GHz Mac running Mac OS 10.5.5 is abysmal. | I upgraded from an earlier version of Filemaker Pro for my office. I like the ugrades and changes that have been made. We were operating on version 3, so there are many good updates.

| IMprovement over v1, but still has some bugs and issues. Many were present in v1. Filemaker has said they do not fix such bugs, only data loss. v1 has proven this to be correct as it has many bugs, some which prevent its use.
Other issues are you can only use Bento on one machine. Ever. If you move the database file to a new computer your address book and iCal data in Bento is lost. | I couldn't even get this program to run. Actually, it did run on my Mac under a different username -- one with virtually nothing else installed -- but wouldn't work under my username. Calls to support were useless. I got the usual drone-type replies where they were obviously copying-and-pasting some responses that had little or nothing to do with my problem and generally didn't even relate to my operating system (OS X).
