| It's a shame when a product that has been worked on for years is broken by DRM. Perhaps someone has been listening too closely to the RIAA and the MPAA. Angering your customers is not the best way to sell them more products. |

| LIke many Mac users, I'm a big fan of iWork; however, as I work in a school that is entirely PC based and which upgraded to Office 2007, having Office 08 means that I can now open attachments and send attachments without worrying about cross-compatibility issues.
I don't use Excel, so I can't say much about that, but PowerPoint and Word seem to work just as well as the PC based 07 versions, when I do use them. I don't like the layout of Word for Mac, it just doesn't make sense, the same ... Read More: |

| I'm a Systems Administrator and I live by virtualization. Mostly for trying out new software, operating systems, etc. I recently bought a Macbook Pro because of being tired/bored of Windows and was looking for emulation software for the Mac. | I have studied French, German and Russian the traditional ways: in classrooms and using books and tapes. I decided to tackle Spanish with Rosetta Stone even though I find the cost a bit high. In less than two weeks I have learned more and am more comfortable speaking Spanish than after months of studying the other languages the traditional ways.

| Late to the party, I wanted to make sure that Apple had ironed out the kinks in the latest OS update.
For the most part, the update works great for end-users. However, I run a mail and web server on a Mac Mini that I applied the upgrade to, and once again, all the configuration files for file sharing, Apache and Postfix were altered and no indication was given that they would have to be re-edited to work with the newer versions of the open source tools. | The features in Lightroom 2 are well worth the cost to upgrade. Yes, a few bugs need to be addressed. Lighroom VER 1 had them too and Adobe did fix them. I would recommend getting "The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 Book for Digital Photographers (Voices That Matter)" by Scott Kelby. Lightroom like Photoshop is complex program to learn , and it does take some time to master. If you are a photographer that has to sort and process a lot images Lightroom will more than pay for itself in the time that it can saves you.

| This is a great value for anyone interested in trying online gaming and and MMORPG. There are so many reviews and sites dedicated to WoW that this short amazon review really isn't the place to get into it, I rated this for price and value alone. If your interested in trying WoW you could always get a free 10 day pass at their site, but if you decide to go past that this is the best choice |

| Installation required admin access so I installed it using "run as" from my son's limited account. It complained a couple times although it ran. He made a creature and liked it....I should have left well enough alone! I figured some configuration settings might not have been made correctly so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it from my admin account. Now it doesn't work at all!
