| The NIDOTTE BOOK set is wonderful! Compact, infinitely user-friendly, accessible in every way, and head-and-shoulders above every other Hebrew/Theological dictionary for the Hebrew Bible for beginning and intermediate students. However, this particular SOFTWARE has some built in, severely limiting "gotcha's" that will throw average users off and even make it unusable. | This disk uses the Logos (version 2.1) reader for religious texts. I run it on Windows 98 SE running as a Qemu image under Linux. It is the only Windows software I continue to use. Logos supported a wide variety of religious texts, before it was replaced by the Libronix system (which still can access the older Logos format). Logos claims it runs on Windows 98 through XP (it was published well before Vista came out). Its roots go much further back, however. | As others have said, this product is so outdated and pretty unusable with Windows XP. I did not understand the platform and you could not easily move clip art from this program to Word or Publisher. Don't buy. |
