| Unintersting designs, boring gameplay, and hidden spyware...makes for a great game right? I am seriously so disapointed in this game. RA2 and RA2 YR were excellent. There are only two units that you really use- all the others are just there.
I hate this game so much, and I hate EA even more from destorying one of the best RTS series ever. I hope i can send it back. |

| I have played this game for around two years and have multiple level 70 characters and thoroughly enjoy it. However the game is broken (as of october 2008) and unplayable at the moment due to horrendous lag issues and server shut downs. Check out the forums for more information, well no information really, but you'll see the scale of the problem:

| I really like the game, though there needs to be a real sequel. Also need to ditch the squares. They can be used as guidelines, but being able to draw property lines would make it more interesting. Just an idea. I will continue to like this game, but Maxis should get the title back and make a better scalable involvement one for those of us who wouldn't mind micromanaging, but keeping the bigger picture for those who just like watching cities grow. |

| This is a product that screams inadequate beta testing or lack of real thought into some design aspects. It may become a good game after several patches but probably not possible.
As a preface, I am a long-time Civ player, but never played the prior version of Civ3 Colonization, so I am essentially a Colonization 'virgin'. | I got this set to play with my wife (we play Age of Mythology a lot, but wanted to change things up a bit). I have very fond memories of playing AoE, but boy were games different back then. I would only recommend these games for people that played them when they were new, and only for memories' sake. The graphics are exceedingly dated. In fact now that I think of it, my memories are being tainted. They were so great but the drop in graphics quality from what I am used to has kept us from playing the games much. So sad... ... | The game is fun so far. One thing to keep in mind if you have never played a C&C game is the game is campy. It does not take itself serious at all, so get this game and laugh at how silly the story and units are in the game.
There is a slight learning curve when you first play the game, but the tutorial should take care of that. The graphics are good, and so is the sound. The premiere edition comes with extra maps you can download, as well as a hat you can use in Warhammer Online to turn into a bear. |

| I like this expansion pack for the Sims 2 because it adds another aspect to the game. It's kind of a game within the game as you create your business and try to make money and keep the customers happy. I have always thought it would be nice to be able to "go to work" with the characters instead of them just being "gone" all day, and now you kind of can! |

| I bought this for my grandchildren. They are 8 years old and younger. I showed them the basics and they continued on without constant supervision. They find it entertaining and challenging. The game is well worth the price. |

| I bought this enhancement after installing Leopard on my Mac. (Beyond the Sword is not available for Mac). It has great new features, that bring further layers of complexity into the game, like Espionage, Corporations, and the diplomatic use of the Apostolic Palace.
If you have played Civilization IV before, I certainly recommend buying this add-on. If you haven't, you will probably want to wait until you have an understanding of how the game works: the plain vanilla version of the game is complicated and addicting enough by itself. |
