| One of the things that has always attracked me to the MAXIS brand is the customization built into their games (i.e. sims 1&2). And while I have enjoyed building unique creatures, placing them into an environment, then running them thru their paces, the game still leaves much to be desired.

| The "unofficial" word is that Apartment Life will be the final expansion pack for the Sims 2 line. I don't really know if that's true, but if so Apartment Life closes the series on an up note.
Along with Seasons and Nightlife, Apartment Life is one of my favorite expansions. I really like the apartment feature, it's been long overdue. | I was hesitant to get this stuff pack due to the disappointment that I've experienced with some of the other expansion and stuff packs, but since I love to build and have been a Sims fan since the first version, I gave it chance. I must say that EA has improved from the last few released Sims 2 items (It seems their quality control department might actually be doing their job). I am very pleased with this pack and would recommend it. |

| Ive played this game before and i absolutely LOVE IT... no doubts about that...
I was just gonna buy it as a gift for someone and i was wondering if this DELUXE edition includes the original SIMS 2 CD for installation because as u know, u always need the original one in order to install the expansion packs on it later on... | This expansion pack is pretty good. I almost didn't get it but am glad I did. The only downside is the game kinda implies there are holidays but there aren't. Definately a good buy. |

| I really like the game, though there needs to be a real sequel. Also need to ditch the squares. They can be used as guidelines, but being able to draw property lines would make it more interesting. Just an idea. I will continue to like this game, but Maxis should get the title back and make a better scalable involvement one for those of us who wouldn't mind micromanaging, but keeping the bigger picture for those who just like watching cities grow. |

| Great Flight Sim, so many choices, great variety of planes and geography. I really am enjoying the flights. |

| Just be aware this product contains some security software called SecuROM.
The game ran on my system exactly once before the SecuROM software shut it down. The SecuROM software would insist I had loaded a backup or a copy and would not allow the game to run. Ea customer support blamed everything from my video driver to dust on the disk. I still haven't gotten the game to run again. I liked the game very much the one time I got to play it. Caveat emptor |

| what more do i need to say, no i haven't bought or played this but i know exactly what i'm talking about...
EA cashing in on the next "sims." Be prepared to see at least 2,052,709 expansion packs for you to waste your money on for spore between now and whatever they release next... waste of time and money. |

| Since Sims 3 is on the horizon I've noticed that many of the Sims 2 expansions are now on sale. Pets has never been one of my favorite expansion packs. As far as objects & interactions go, it's pretty weak compared to the others. The dogs & cats are cute, but not enough to warrant an entire pack to themselves. The space themed Atomic furniture is quite nice though.
So although I believed Pets was overpriced when it was first released, the current price now is worth it and reflects the game play value of the pack. |
