| My 8-year-old daughter loves this. And I like it, too, because it is teaching her some logical reasoning in an entertaining setting.
I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of two small flaws: - you can't stop the game and save it at each level, you have to get through a few. This makes it harder to have her stop when it is time to go to bed / go to school / etc. For the parent's sake, please make games easy to save at any point. - getting all ... Read More: |

| I'm not happy with the manner in which they executed the story-based gameplay. Your child's progress to the next segment is dependant on your child laboriously clicking to figure out what to do next. Even when you're certain where you need to go, it is a chore to walk Mia to the next location. Would be great it they had some software patches to make the "click boxes" for certain targets larger so Mia does not walk aimlessly into a circle when we're trying to make her perform an action on a item or ... | I bought this game, not having played the Nancy Drew games before. I'd read the books as a child, and the games are good extentsion of that. This game was fun, and enjoyable. It has a good storyline, lots of puzzles, and quite good graphics. It wasn't easy to complete, took a week or so, but I had fun while I was working out the puzzles, and exploring many parts of the Nancy Drew world. I would recomend this to anyone who enjoys computer games, especially girls. |

| Use to play when i was a kid, still fun to play. Although it was difficult to open, had to explore through many things to open the game, does not show up on my windows xp well at all. Note of advice, if your buying for a younger kid, you will have to help them open up the program to play it. |

| It looks good and runs fine under XP. However, there are no helps or hints. You have to find every object to move on. We can't find one of the hidden things, and without even a guess of where it is, the game is now worthless. |

| My son learned about this game in school. He liked it so we got one for home. The puzzles are fun to solve--they teach the player to solve a problem using a selection of tools. In a way it's similar to computer programming--it allows you to connect tools with different functions to create something unique to solve a problem. |

| I bought this game for my two kids 5 and 7 and sat thought an interminable 2hrs while they played it.
The game doesn't come with instructions so you have to find them on the disk. Unfortunately even after reading them I did not find the game very intuitive. One of the first things to occur is that the mouse gets violently mugged by a Rat. I wasn't expecting that when I bought the game.
