| My 8-year-old daughter loves this. And I like it, too, because it is teaching her some logical reasoning in an entertaining setting.
I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of two small flaws: - you can't stop the game and save it at each level, you have to get through a few. | I purchased this software because my kid's daycare uses Reader Rabbit. I picked this version since it was preschool to K & I've got a 3yr old & a 5yr old & I wanted something (for my first purchase of software) that they could both use. It's a two disk set with one for the preschool & the other is K. | I was also unable to get Kid Pix 3 to work on XP. After searching the internet, we found a way that was supposed to make it compatible. We followed every direction to make this thing work. It did end up finally loading, but then it would crash. Finally we found a tech support number. First we were told that there was only support on the web for KP3, but the website directs us back to call for support. We were bounced us back and forth and back and forth to different departments. | This was a great started program for my 4 year old. I am a new homeschooler and wasn't sure where to start. My son absolutely loved this program and actually asked to do school everyday! It is easy to understand and even my 2 year old likes to watch his older brother play the games. It has really been a great teaching resource. We have purchased the next three discs and all of them are great! |

| I got this game for my grandaughter for her 5th birthday. I wanted a game she could do herself without constantly having to aske someone to help her. She really likes this game and is able to do most of it herself without help. |

| This is our first Mia purchase and I'm VERY happy with it. My oldest is 5 yrs old and loves it. She starts kindergarten in the fall. There are 2 sections of the software. One section is games, the other is an 'adventure' story where you collect items and play all the same games as in the game section. There are a variety of 'games' to play each a bit more challenging than the last. You can also choose a difficulty level from 1-4 for each game. | I'm not happy with the manner in which they executed the story-based gameplay. Your child's progress to the next segment is dependant on your child laboriously clicking to figure out what to do next. Even when you're certain where you need to go, it is a chore to walk Mia to the next location. Would be great it they had some software patches to make the "click boxes" for certain targets larger so Mia does not walk aimlessly into a circle when we're trying to make her perform an action on a item or simply ...
