| I have to rate this camera as an okay value. The good news is its easy to set up and use, and worked as advertised out of the box. The bad news: the picture washes out in direct sunlight and the colors also tend to wash out badly unless the lighting is just right. I also wish the cord was a lot longer, especially for the wall plug. | I am still think this is a nice device but be carefull where do you buy it. I bought it on Amazon and it was defective. I saw somebody else's review with the same problem and after I got a defective replacement I do not think this was just bad luck. It took me a long time to set them up wireless as I expected because I am not a IT guy but that this happened because the cameras were defective make me mad. | Bought it from Sam's. Could not install on Vista with included (dated) software. Went on their website and downloaded software. After a while had it running. Worked fine initially until the computer was restarted. On mine Norton firewall is a startup program - it blocks the camera from being discovered (i did the trusted configuration etc with the ip address of the camera etc - all geek work in spite of non existent documentation anywhere including in the knowledge center on how to get around it). | This Panasonic outdoor camera is a great little product. It is used outside our condo and it has operated in temperatures of -5 without any issues. An attached SD card allows many photos to be saved on a chip and the zoom lens allows us to see things pretty close. The only issue is finding a powered outdoor speaker for use with two-way communications. Panasonic wasn't able to provide a vendor and we haven't been able to find one on our own. Except for this issue the camera works as advertised. |

| I bought this camera after an incident at my house while I was at work. Luckily a neighbor witnessed the incident and helped me recover damages, but I realized that I needed something to watch over my property when I was not at home.
This camera has proven to be a great match for my needs. I have it set up to record to my computer hard drive. It sends me email alerts when it detects motion in the covered video area, which is my driveway. I can easily review the video of anyone who drives down my driveway ... Read More: |

| I'm not fully impressed with this product. For the money spent I expected better quality. Nighttime picture quality is fuzzy, though daytime is very clear. Batteries don't last long. Back clip broke off easily and now I have to prop up the monitor with something else to view. At night it puts off quite a bit of light so I wouldn't recommend it if you need complete darkness to sleep. |
