| I purchased this set so I could post the cameras at my front door, garage driveway, and behind my home. I am able to view my entire driveway out to the road with one camera. The color is decent but not exactly TV quality or anything, but my main concern was just to be able to see. It works well at night but you will see an almost black screen until a person walks up. | I like the video the only problem is i wish you could make it zoom in and out and have adio. The camera itself was great as far as video. I am going to try something else that hooks up to my pc with a reciever. I recieved everything on time which was nice. |

| We have one camera in our 2-year old's room and one in our infant's crib. Good color picture when there is enough light. Nice to see if either kid has his eyes open or closed from outside of the room. Good sound transmission. Poor night vision picture - in low light you can't see much even if the camera is very close to your subject - it is essentially a glorified audio baby monitor. As such, we don't use the night vision option.

| I gave it 1 star for price & features, but unfortunately the motion detect did not work nor did external triggering. Customer service did not respond to email after a week & got no response to date with the online RMA process on the Q-See site. I sent the DVR back to Amazon for a refund and am looking for a different brand. Hopefully the 4 Q-See cameras I also bought continue to work since dealing with Q-See would be useless. |

| As others have said, this is an admirable, affordable basic security camera. But we all know the real test of a product is the company behind it. If you have a question, how responsive and helpful is that company?
Sharx Security wrote the book on customer service, as far as I'm concerned! | We bought this camera not as a security feature, but as a "foal watch" camera to monitor our mares out in the barn about to foal. It was easy to install and we have been very happy with the clarity of the picture. The only thing is when the cordless phone rings, the picture goes bonkers, but other than that, it's worked out fine. Good value for the price. |

I know it says weatherproof, but some people think weatherproof means waterproof. It is not the same. Weatherproof and waterproof are two different things. I have had my camera outside for a year. It hangs under the eave of the garage and it has withstood 2 tropical storms and a multitude of rain storms. I can see and hear everything.
