| I purchased this projector for my classroom and LOVE it. It has totally changed the way I teach. My school has since purchased me a projector like this one and one for each teacher in the entire building!! I totally cannot imagine teaching without one of these things ever again! It is wonderful! |

| Bought this projector ahead of a two week trip across the states demoing our software to prospective clients. It was ideal as it fit into my pull-along laptop bag alongside my laptop and was light enough that it didn't pull my shoulder out when I had to carry it. It powers up very quickly, which is important when you are setting up in a customers office, and the image quality is excellent. | I got this bulb through Amazon from Adorama. It lasted less than 4 hours before the filament broke. Just like the one I replaced that had lasted over 25 years. They sure don't make them like they used to. |

| This Optoma ep727's lamp burned out in under 200 hours. The company won't replace this. Over $300 to replace the lamp. What a poor piece of equipment and a terrible company with horrible customer service. YOU SHOULD NOT BUT THIS PIECE OF JUNK. |

| My company bought three for a project room and mounted them to the ceiling. Within 1 month of average use two had already been returned due to the lamp not striking (lamp will not turn on). If you get them, be sure you have maintenance plan and spare bulbs handy. |

(REAL NAME) I brought this project through AMAZON. No doubt it is a good projector - very small and have sharp picture. But, when the fan kicks into high gear, it is unbearable. People is unable to hear my voice during the presentation. Therefore I return the projector. Unfortunately I have to pay 15% restocking fee. It will be a good product if Optoma can make some minor change in this respect. |

| I needed a projector for presentations that was pretty bright and easy to carry around. I could find lots of standard resolution projectors in the 5-600 dollar range, but saw this one at a local discount club that was $700 that has XGA 1024x780 resolution. Since I don't have a HDTV, I thought this might be a way to get double-duty out of the projector. I have a HDTV OTA tuner box that has DVI-D output.
