| I printed about 50 4x6 pictures and the cartridges ran low. The cost of new cartridges is just about the same price as buying a new printer. The iP6210D is not worth the money, a poor value. |

| I would have given this 5 stars if it had had a page feeder. Although in my case not a necessity, still it would have been a nice feature given the price of this unit. It's EXPENSIVE!
The scanner itself does exactly what I require of it. It takes great scans of large items and offers many filter and scanning options including software that permits multiple scans without requiring one to call up the Twain driver after every scan. | I bought this all-in-one over a year ago, so I've had sometime to wear this thing in. For the amount of printing I do, mostly text and some pictures, it goes through ink pretty quickly given the number of pages actually printed. I print a lot at work on my desk top printer, but I replace the ink cartridge more with this printer then I do the printer I have at work.

| Unfortunately I carry work home. As a business owner with a steady influx of information, I have tried to stay as electronic as possible with the storage of this information. I have two document scanners in my office that get used reguarly and wanted to upgrade at home from the flatbed scanners I have used for years. | We have had 2 brothers MFC machines the latest was MFC-8220 the one before was the same, I am not sure it had the same number but both worked well as a fax and laser printer for 2 years before a plastic gear broke. Both machines had the same problem in about the same length of time. |

| I purchased this photo printer based on Consumer Report's ranking this unit tops in the category.
It is a terrific printer. The unit prints pictures with better quality than a local photography place with top of the line equipment. My unit I bought from one vendor included the battery, which was a very big bonus. Do yourself one big favor, and this is not a sales pitch. Buy a premium/high quality gloss/semi-gloss photo paper for this printer. Stay away from index card like matte paper ... Read More: |

| I got this scanner because I wanted the duplex ADF so I could archive a couple shelves worth of documents. Has been working great. I was actually quite impressed with the software and the options available. The searchable PDF for a document form is perfect - It automatically adjusts for landscape documents and inserts them in the PDF appropriately. The majority of typed text is recognized and converted to copy and pastable text which was a huge bonus. I bought mine as a used/off lease machine and haven't seen any downsides to that yet. ... | This is the worst piece of junk I've ever had. The first printer failed right out of the box. I've had the second one for about 6 months, and it has now failed - some obscure error message about updating the firmware that I can't find a solution for. I don't have time to fiddle with equipment - I need to turn it on and have it work. Never Again!! |
