| I've had this all-in-one for over three years now and still think it's one of the best purchases I ever made. I love it. I use every feature on it (print/scan/copy/fax).
I have never had a problem installing the software that came with it and now have the unit hooked up on a router which is hardwired to a desktop and laptop and wireless to a second laptop. | Back in the old days of OS 9 for Mac, I used this printer to make posters and get somewhat accurate color proofs for 4 color commercial printing. I could get some really nice photo printouts with the gloss paper but in time the ink fades so you're better off sending your digital photos to a lab to be printed.

| We have had the scanner 4 years and it worked well without much problem. We had to pay someone to instlal the software when we first got it and the buttons never worked. But it scanned good pictures. Color scans of black and white pictures did come out with a blueish cast. We didn't have a lot of problems until we bought a new computer with XP. | I use this to produce quality images of 300dpi - 600dpi for use in professional print media. One neat feature of this scanner is you can enlarge a small photo by several percent and it still looks great! The quality is excellent.
It can only scan one slide at a time however. Other scanners usually can scan up to 4 slides at a time. Experienced no disappointments in my usage of it. Works well along side of Adobe Photoshop software. |

| This scanner had the "Twain" problem which could not be resolved. Also I ran into the "unlock the scanner" problem, when the transport lock on the bottom of the scanner was not locked. Just broken. Customer service was no help, costs $2/minute. Won't buy Visioneer again after reading reviews of other models having the same problems. |

| Worked well for about a month, then barely ever printed a picture properly. I bought it so I could print pictures and ended up sending them to retail locations for printing. The printer is loud, the ink runs out quickly, the heads always need to be cleaned, and the colors print wrong and poorly. Totally dissapointed! I'd definitely buy a Canon next time. |

| I bought this item refurbished and it arrived not working. I cannot really say the product itself is bad, however, I purchased this particular model because my previous printer stopped working and I had recently replaced the ink cartridges which are very expensive. So now I have 2 of this model printer that do not work and lots of ink cartridges. I hope the supplier does the right thing and returns my money. |

| Go with the Canon DR-2080. This is one of those scanners, although attractively priced on Amazon.com, is still TOO [spendy] for its size (HUGE footprint). The Scan drivers are difficult to install and are NOT user friendly. Bottom line: go with the Canon DR-2080. Although the Canon is a path through, its quality and ease of use is FAR superior to this Ricoh behemoth. |
