| I bought this scanner several years ago. This scanner can be a little workhorse . . . and sometimes, that's just what you need.
It's lightweight, less than 3 lbs, easy to put in a backpack or purse, easy to hide & store if necessary. This scanner has become hard to find. Try the CanoScan LiDE 25 for the next best scanner if you can't find this one. The newer features will serve you well, like the Toolbox. It lets you scan the document directly into a PDF file! | I've used this printer for home use and it is simply stunning...I bought it to print true "photographic" quality prints and it comes through in spades. At the same time I purchased a Canon EOS Digital Rebel. It is amazing to capture 6 Mega-pixel images and then be able to print them in poster size.

| I'm a professional web site designer and as such I do a lot of scanning. Most of the scans I do are reduced in size and optimized for the web. While I don't need real high resolution scans, the image quality must be such that they can be reduced and yet remain sharp. This has proven to be a great scanner for this type of work. If you really need high end scans, you wouldn't be looking in this price range anyway. I am a Photoshop professional, but it takes time to correct each picture. The scanner's software cleans and ... | I have had my scanner for over three years and it really saves me a lot of time. But I do wish that their was a customer service line to help with problems that are not available. I have tried everything to make my faxes come out in black and white but to no avail. The background is always gray. Even when I just print to copy. Are their manuals that I can purchase? |

| I've owned this printer for about 2 years. I switched from XP to Vista and downloaded the patch from HP. The printer worked great. Now I have problems after all of HP updates and after many phone calls and hours with tech support they have informed me that they no longer support this printer with Vista. Also the patch for Vista is no longer available on HP's website. If you still have XP go for it. |
