| I was very disppointed with the camera. The first picture I took at Thanksgiving was fine. When I tried to take a second picture, the camera froze on me. I had to repeatedly remove the battery to re-set the camera to take pictures. I plan on returning the camera. |

| I bought this camera about 15 days back. I have used it a couple of times indoors, outdoors and indoors with low-light conditions.
Used correctly, this camera does a great job of taking good quality images. I had to play with the camera for about 15-20 mins to get familiar with it so I could take the best pictures possible. | Purchased this from Amazon almost a month ago. I used it and compared it to a Nikon 5200 and Canon A610, both of which were 5 megapixel. What is shocking is the low quality of the pictures, which on close examination turn out to contain a high amount of digital noise and other signs of poor image processing. The Nikon has noisy images, but the Sony is noticeably worse than even that. The Canon is phenomenal in that area, with no digital noise and excellent shading in dark areas. | The 8" versions are the only ones with a 4:3 aspect ratio. This is the ideal and native ratio for 99+% of digital cameras. Only very few take photos in 16:9 widescreen, and taking the time to convert and crop your 4:3 photos into 16:9 would no doubt be tedious. Generally the 16:9 models are more expensive but LESS expensive for manufacturers to make because may other consumer electronic devices require 7-10" widescreen/16:9 LCDs while not many use 4:3 anymore. | i just had to warn everyone here of my recent experience. this seller canceled my order for no reason whatsoever. i thought maybe they were out of stock or something but thats not the case. i have no idea why they did what they did. i was expecting the card by tomorrow but now i have to wait on one from another seller. go to blue proton, the other seller selling this exact card on here. it may look like a few dollars more, but after shipping its the same price, and hopefully they have better business practices. |
