| I love this camera! However, after owning it for three months, it no longer works. Amazon.com was not at all helpful in this process. I had to send it back to Canon for repair, which will take 3 weeks or more.
I am disapointed with the quality of the product, but when it was working, it did work fine. |

| Researched and researched cameras until I was researched OUT! Saw this little jewel and decided (based on other reviews) I should try it. SOOOOO glad I did! Human-friendly camera, easy to use, GREAT pics and just what else could you ask for? Oh yeah....was at a GREAT price. | After reading numerous reviews on Amazon and checking Consumer Reports reviews(they had rated these tops for the price range)I decided to take a chance on these. I can say that these are without a doubt the absolute best I have ever seen in this price range. | Basically both hardware and software on this thing are poor. You can see individual pixels which makes the images blocky. Doesn't always recognize the JPEGs on my cards. The sound quality is mediocre at best. The finish is cheap and plasticky. I returned it the very day I opened the box. It is a pity that you can't play music as the photos are being shown. You can only do things one at a time. |

| I accidentally ordered this instead of the Extreme (which I have for my dig cam) I wanted another..so in my excitement over shopping in Amazon.com, I guess I dropped the wrong one in my order. Well, I'm happy with it. Although it isn't quite the same as the Extreme version, as it doesn't save quite as fast, but you only notice that if you've used the Extreme memory, as the Ultra saves a tiny tish slower...but I'm happy with it. :) Amazon.com got this to me safe & sound..and fast.. don't forget fast. :) |

| I recommend this lens. I have been using it for few months now and I am very satisfied with it. It's heavy if you want to cary it the whole day in a long walk. It's very sharp up to 200mm and sharp enough at 300mm. I can't always blame the lense as I shoot very far objects and the haze make the picture look not so sharp (I haven't used UV filters with it yet; they are still on the way to be delivered).
Buy this lense now if you really need it or wait for the AF-S version of 80-400mm VR if you can wait ... Read More: |
