| OK so there's a lot of discussion on whether this is a "good" lens,and it's an OK to good lens for the money. The biggest problems is the chromatic aberration. Now this just could be this particular lens, though there is a lot of discussion on that, too. My experience is this: if you are shooting high contrast color with a lot of dark to light edges, the lens interprets the borders and shadows as a kind of deep green. | They sold me a defective product. A HV30 camcorder. The shoe does not work. Come on people, how hard is it to check and see if the shoe works before sending it out of the factory? And the desk top recharger worked for a few days and then died. I of course contacted customer service and they told me to bit it. Sure, send it in and someday you might get it back. But I bought it to use now, on the campaign trail, I told them. And they said, that's your problem.

| OK, I will admit I was having problems with this camera at first, and thought of buying another camera, as most of my pictures were coming out dark or black until my dad messed with one of the settings, the high speed shooting. Then they came out great! And oddly enough didn't slow down the shutter speed at all. Since then I have gotten nothing short of outstanding!

| Bought this case for my Canon SD770IS and it's very good, the camera fits in perfectly and it protects in very well. Of course it makes it all a bit larger so I only use it when I really need to protect my camera, if I carry the camera in my pocket or so I don't use the case.
