| Sharp, excellent color. All around lovely lens. Simple design. Light weight. Good price on sale. I like the hidden lens hood in it. There is not a whole lot more you can say about such a simple, low cost prime lens. |

| I don't know in depth of lens technology, since I am new to this field and I don't hesitate to call myself a novice user in this field. However I have been learning of late about all this stuff and reading the reviews of lens.
About Sigma 70-300 DG lens - I am happy with it; I get to play around a lot connecting it to Canon 450D. Worth mentioning that I got very good portrait pictures and macros using this lense. It covers quite a good distance. Backgorund blurr effect is amazing. Quality may ... Read More: |

| I got this lens along with my K10D, and it's surprisingly versatile and well-built for its extremely low price.
The autofocus can be a little slow sometimes, and I occasionally wish it had a wider aperture, but it's an excellent beginner lens and you really can't beat the price. Even though I have several other lenses, this is still the one that's on my camera most of the time. |

| I'm from the 35mm film generation and I'm so glad I chose the four thirds system when I decided to upgrade to digital. My Lumix has now 3 lenses from 3 different brands and this Olympus lens is absolutely incredible for this price and versatility. This is the equivalent of an 18mm in the 35mm format, plenty for day to day wide angle use, and I'm already planning my next vacation around this marvel. |

| I have had this lens for about 4 months now, and have used it as the one I carry on the camera regularly. Lets cut to the quick oh this review: Is it as sharp and clear as a Nikon or Canon lens? No, but it may be very close as far as going on what the viewer perceives alone. Is it light weight? NO, but it is alse pretty darn solid in construction. | This lens has replaced my Nikon D40's 18-55mm kit lens as the one that stays on my camera most of the time. It outperforms the kit lens in every way. It is sharper, has better reach at 70mm, and 2.8-4.5 aperture. There has been little chromatic aberration in shots where I would have expected it.
