| I'm a primary Canon user. I owned before the canon 50 mm 1.4, a trully excellent lens for the money too. But not to sharp wide open. You have to stop down at least to f2 in order to get good contrast and saturation. Also, the focusing ring was bad in my opinion.

| I ordered the 58 mm set, but think I should have gotten the 55mm set instead (that was my fault). I received the product on time, but noticed that my 10X lens had a chip in the glass. So I contacted the company via email to see what their exchange policy was, I mentioned the chip and asked if I could exchange this set for a 55mm set. | I'm no professional, but I love taking photos. I have the XTi and only have two lenses so far: the 28-105 and this one, the 100-300. In reading several reviews, I seem to not be alone in this setup.
Overall, I absolutely love this lens and haven't had any problems with it in the six months I've had it. My images stay pretty sharp throughout the zoom range and I rarely have light problems. | This is one of the best lenses you can buy for the price. The photos are clear and crisp. The only major problems is that it takes a ton of light to get a properly exposed picture, and if you don't have a DSLR that has AF built in it can be a challenge to get the lens to maintain its focus. This is a great lens for the price, just make sure you have a nice flash to get the most out of this lens. |

| I was amazed by the clarity of my macro as well as the protraits. Later I learned that this can very well be used for protraits and expect a great result. The photos which I took with this (almost 2000 or more) are amazingly high quality.
DOF pictures came out to be the best with this lens. |

| I have owned this tube for a few years. It is a great piece for close-up work however I find that it is somewhat extreme. You get really close up, which is great for some subjects but not so good for others.It is so close it's hard to focus on the entire subject sometimes. If you want extreme closeness, go for it. If you what a little more versatility, go with the 12 II version. |

| I bought the opteka 2.2x HD2 Telephoto lens for my Kodak z1012 IS..I am terribly dissappointed in the product...I am glad I only spent $30 on it...it leaves a hazy look on photo's...I don't like it...I wouldn't recommend this product...but the macro lens is fantastic..that was well worth the money.. |
