| What a great camera at any price and that it was only $99 makes it THE bargain out there, and I looked for a while.
The 5x zoom is great and Panasonic has extended zoom which goes up to almost 8x on this camera. On the down side its a bit slow between pictures but that might be because I haven't read the manual yet as there are so many features. |

| Don't make the same mistake I did and buy this camera based on all the "great" reviews here. Most people writing reviews here are amateurs (since only an amateur would buy this camera) and don't realize just how awful this camera's images are. I bought this camera for my sister after insufficient research, only to be shockingly disappointed.
The images are simply incredibly noisy, and Sony tries to cover up this massive shortfall by adding massive amount of digital "noise correction." ... Read More: |

| Just bought the camera on black Friday, so haven't had much time to use it. Takes good quality pictures as long as there is ample light. You have to play around with the settings to get it to take decent low light pictures. |

| Nice camera for the price. I like the auto smile feature. Lightweight and easy to use. Able to recover photos after they have been deleted. Would recommend this camera. I bought 2 of them. A pink one for my daughter and a blue one for my son. They both enjoy using these cameras. |

| I was using a XTi before, then moved up to the 50D. Originally, i was only for the enhanced pix count. When started using it, at least two things exceeded my original expectations.
1. the high speed shots when am doing birding -- incrediblly caught each frame thought cculd be missed. this definitely provides me other new possibilities for sporting as well as HDR bracketing. 2. the live view AF-ON's live and face-detect modes. i could not over state how big it helped out for the shot on my wife's food blogging. | This camera is amazing for its price, specially the optical zoom is absolute fantastic. I have used in football games and got the absolutely great snaps of players. Quality is simply awesome. I love it. Easy to use and easy to click. |
