| the camera looks nice, has a full size seperate SD card and a large viewing screen, and uses AA batteries..all these are pros.
the cons are, the video is very inferior compared to the flip (we bought both the rca ez210, ez205 AND FLIP ULTRA). the ez210 has slightly better video than it's smaller version the ez205...but still is fairly blurry, unable to see deatails the flip has no problem with. e.g. i video-ed a phone book ad and the flip was easily read but both rca's you could not ... | Item arrived in time. Bought it for my brother. Tested it and works well. What I like about it is the zoom (41x). My only concern is one has to slide the lens cover manually. I was used to DC40 which is more automatic. Overall good buy. |

| My wife bought two digital cameras for my 6 & 8 yr old kids prior to our family trip to Disney World. The reviews weren't so good and they were both pretty expensive, so I did some reviews of other cheap recording devices and found the Vado was simple to use, carry, and wouldn't cause any heartache if dropped or lost like a high end camera would. | This camera is light, small, very intuitive and easy to maneuver. I chose the Canon DC330 over the DC310 because this model has the USB connection. I like recording on DVDs because I need to backup my computer anyway. Sound quality is very clear. |

| I was using a MiniDV camcorder and decided to up grade. I'm not a big Canon fan, mostly because of price but I sure do love this camcorder. There is A LOT of great features on the HG21 and yes it does have a viewfinder (the HG20 does not). Its very simple to use and you have a lot of storage with the 120GB hard. I love shooting in the 24p cinema mode. I definitely would recommend it! If you don't need a huge hard drive or viewfinder than go with the HG20 its exactly the same and you will save some $$$. |

| Just had it for a few weeks, and it is my first camcorder, so nothing to compare against. It delivers what promises.
Good image quality for video, and the smile shooter is great! The software is on the down side: With a dual core HP laptop 1 gb ram and vista it took me about 2 hr to create a SD DVD from a HD movie of about 40 minutes... slowwwww and you have to download the files to the computer. Very easy to use, however. Suggest additional battery and memory stick. |

| Not that many years ago camcorders were about the size of microwave ovens, recorded VHS tapes, and had to be positioned on shoulders to take clear shots. The first change was the 8mm tape which was very compact and aloed for cameras that only weighed a few pounds. But a lot of people didn't want to buy them because they couldn't play them on their new VHS video cassette recorder. But along came digital tape and fewer and fewer people lugged around shoulder mounted cameras on their pilgrimages to Walt Disney World.

| Pros: Price is right (cheap); Easy to use; clever tiny design; interesting features that you can personalize to your liking; sufficient storage (with addon 1GB card...spend extra and get it); battery life seems pretty good so far; no worry about power when connected to usb port on pc.
Cons: Video is not outstanding but ok; still photos come out pretty decent; for best results you need to use camera in good lighting conditions. |

| I was waiting for this camcorder for a long time... and I have to say I am very disappointed... the main issue is the unique format Sony is using that makes it extremely difficult to play, send or edit... it is so bad that once you download the files to your computer, you cannot play them unless you buy a Sony Vegas... or special player or file convertors....this methods really belong to the last century...and Sony should be punished for that... I highly recommend going with the SANYO product that record on MP4 format...I can write more ... Read More: |
