| I didn't spend a lot on this product...good. Pretty much out of the box I started enjoying this product...well not really, I did have to find the firewire cable but hey.

| This product blowed-up my expectations. It was easy to set-up and the touch screen functionality it's fun to use. The dual picture/video it's definetly an asset with an exceptional videos & pictures quality for a small product like that.

| I had 4GB card free with purchase of this Garnet colored camcorder. It lasted about 1.1 hours in SP quality. I took this to some caverns at Shenandoah National Park and the videos turned out to be OK. Battery life was better than my team caver's Sony flash camcorder. In addition to being so cute and made in Japan (hard to find these days), it is quite impressive in low light settings. I just used easy mode in the caves. | I received one of these as a promotional. Functionally, it was totally cool. I dropped it. It broke. Done.
It was a small drop. The type of drop my regular camera has experienced multiple times. The type my mobile phone has experienced multiple times. Etc. Nope. Dead. If you do buy one, buy yourself a case for padding - but the plastic is pretty thin stuff. Or buy yourself a camera that can do all these things and not break after a little wear and tear. |

| First off, two things you should be aware of before you buy this camera. One, if you don't have a firewire port, or don't intend on getting one for your computer (fireware cards aren't difficult to install and are fairly cheap), DO NOT buy this camera. Since most cameras record on harddrives nowadays anyways, this camera is definitely a little dated. However, if you have a firewire port this is a non issue since getting the video onto your computer is a painless process. Second, if sound is very important to you, DO NOT buy this camera. ... The bad... The clip...is "really tight" and tough to connect/disconnect to the mounts with the camera some might see it as a bad thing as other might want this...Depends on if you want to have several differnt application for its use.
