| So far so good... The device is great if you need to capture something happening on the spot, but for any kind of production it is simply useless, well maybe it's good enough for web production.

| I bought this camera first at Best Buy first in order to record a very important event. However, after the event, I noticed, while reviewing the video, that there was a distracting dead pixel (greeen spot always on) right in the middle of the image. After verifying that it was on the CCD and not on either of the two viewfinders, I returned the camera for a full refund. I would have exchanged it but every store was out of stock. The techs verified the defect and waived the "resocking fee." :-)

| This camera far surpassed my expectations. I paid $115 for it and wanted it for kayaking. I was willing to sacrifice picture quality for waterproof and most importantly the wrist strap. The wrist strap setup is top notch. It is so accessable and easy to use. I have not had any trouble with framing pictures in the view finder as some others have had. The only pictures that are hard to get is trying to get verticle pics because it is hard to position your arm and keep the camera straight with it strapped ... Read More: |

| I bought this camcorder about 1 year back and it was working fine for first 5-6 months and then suddenly during our trip to Seattle I started having problems. Camcorder records for a while then gives message saying "Disk cover open accidentally. Turn on power again" and when I do that then all the recording is erased and it starts all over again. I have lost two dvd recordings due to this problem.

| I thought I was getting a great deal. And I did, at $150 or so for an HD camcorder. And man, this thing is small. This DXG 566 takes decent video and I really like that it is at a high resolution. I'm not sure what it is exactly, but it's good. To test it out, I went to a race at NJ Motorsports Park. I stood in the grass about 40 yards from the cars and it went well. You can actually see the car numbers clearly (not bad for having no REAL zoom). I think something must have broken, though, because I can't playback video or pictures ... Read More: |

| This is my first refurbished product, the camera looks like new, come with all their accesories, works perfect, I own a SONY HVR-HD1000u and the hv20 blow away the sony, low light is a lot better in the canon and 24p option is a plus for me.
The construction is a little bit crappy but the picture quality is stunning. Best Regards. |
