| The PowerShot A590 is very impressive. It has a big bright screen, it does a very good job of figuring out exposure and focus, and it even shoots nice video. Buying the camera with this bundle was convenient but the value is iffy. The camera case is very tight, making it difficult to get the camera in and even more difficult to get it out so I'll be buying a bigger case (probably big enough to also hold the accessories). | The lens is suprisingly easy to handle and hold. Canon has kept the weight to a minimum. The image stabilization works very well and the lens takes very good handheld photos. Selected this lens over the shorter telephoto with a 1.6x, because of the much better weight disbursement. |

| What can I say? It's a battery! It powers the camera. It holds a charge. Eventually it will wear out.
It's nice having a spare battery for backup. Maybe I didn't need to get it, because the Canon battery is pretty big, the battery charger that comes with the camera is pretty compact, and I'll probably take it along when I go on motorcycle rides. Still, it will be good to rotate the batteries in my camera, as they can only go through a finite number of discharge/recharge cycles. ... Read More: |

| Like others, it would have been nice to have an extra pocket for batteries. However, it didn't negatively sway my decision about purchasing the bag. Keeping the camera safe was my first priority. I wasn't concerned about having a pocket for an extra memory card. You can by an 8GIG card and shouldn't need another one handy for a picture shoot.

| From my experience the sd870 takes great pics in almost all situations. It performs well with the Sandisk Extreme III 8gb card that I purchased with it. The thumb scroll feature has some "cool" factor to it, but I found it a little "finicky" and choose to turn that feature off and access the menu manually which is equally easy. Ordered this one. Then found mine and returned it. I ordered a silicone skin for my camera from Amazon. My camera broke before I got the protective skin. I think I am not meant to take pictures. |
