| This is a wonderful camera. I wanted to start learning more about photography with a camera that was better than just a little point and shoot. It takes gorgeous pictures even on just Auto. I took our family Christmas pictures in our back yard with a tripod on the manual setting and they turned out looking professional. Definitely a good buy. |

| I just got this camera and have been playing around with it for about a week. I formerly had an Olympus and loved it, but everyone who I knew who had a Powershot loved them, so I thought Id's give it a shot.
The LCD is crystal clear and I like the dial. It is fairly easy to get the hang of. I do recommend reading the manual, though because there are a lot of things this camera can do...I have a tendency of putting my camera in Auto and leaving it there, so please read the book! | I received my SD1100 last week - it only took 3 days with free shipping. Very impressed with Amazon's shipping during the holidays. All that aside, I am also impressed with this camera! I shopped around and chose the Canon SD1100. It's so small and compact. Easy to take along everywhere but it's still packed with all the fun features. I wanted to leave a review on the color alone. | I've owned this lens for just over a year now. My other lens is a 17-85mm, and while I use that one when I go outdoors and/or want a wider range, I keep the 50mm on my camera about 90% of the time. These days I'm mostly taking pictures of my 10month old son, and this lens is fabulous for that. Allows me to take great clear, crisp shots indoors with low-ish light. I'll agree it might not be as nice as the 1.4, but for 1/3 the price that's to be expected. If you can afford to go higher, then sure, buy the 1.4 or another more ... Read More: |

| I had expected a lot from this camera after seeing so many good reviews about the same, but that didn't really happen. Every picture i have taken with this camera has some kind of blueish-ness in it and the switch that moves from still picture to movie mode didn't work very well either. Also while reviewing the pictures/videos it took a long time to fetch them from the flash memory card. So, in short i'm not really happy with this one. |

| I was very pleased when I first received my remote. It worked as expected the first day. I went to use it a few days later and it did not work. I replaced the batteries and still did not work. I returned it right away and ordered a less expensive one which I like much better and is still working after 2 weeks, yipeeee! |

| You can not base your review of the camera only on the editing software that comes with the camera. All HD camera's come with just basic editing software which do not take advantage of hardware.
I purchased this camera 2 weeks ago, connect directly to my HD 65" and the picture is incredible. I use Vegas Pro and the editing is great, burn to DVD DL with Blue Ray format and the play back is just as great. Great camera for the price. I do have one question. What was included within the box when you recieved your camera? |

| As cameras get smaller, a case to match becomes all the more important. This is a great case that does exactly that. It's functional and minimally bulky. Camera is held firmly enough but will slide out without too much effort. The slot for the strap is optional, and we almost never use it. We bought the case to hold a SD870IS, and liked so much that i bought another one so that we have one of our daughter to carry on her backpack waist belt for quick handoff when sharing the camera. |
