| Easy to use, but also has options for macro, flash, aperture and shutter priority.
Range within each option is limited but will cover typical needs for a snapshot camera. Quality is great except in low light. High ISO is almost useless. |

| OK, so I had a Sony sureshot, that camera has NOTHING on this lil one. What I like about it: easy to use and figure out ( for basics) Comes with an advanced users guide ( awesome) takes GREAT Night photos though I need to finetune some options.Has really long battery life. Did I mention it takes great vids too!? Love it. Highly reccommend! |

| I have the camera for a few days and my experience is sos so okay. It is not spectacular nor great but bad either.
The camera has a good interface on screen and the flash does its job once you have figured out working around some standard settings. The view finder is useless as it is the size of a pin head. | The XSi is a great step-up from the high-end point & shoot. The learning curve was fairly short when moving from the "S3 IS" to the XSi. Some functions are actually easier to use on the XSi than on the S3.

| I am a camera-holic and like to get a new one every year or so. And I travel a LOT. I don't know as much as the real geeks here, but I know what I like. This takes wonderful pictures, does a great job of steadying my picture when I don't take the time to be still, and the colors and pictures are consistently outstanding. I like having a viewfinder and lots of cameras don't. Shutter lag is not a huge problem, although there are still times I miss a shot.

The lens itself is outstanding. True: the construction could be better, but for its price, the quality of the photos are great. Even more. If you have a Canon, and can't afford or simply do not wish to spend more (quality of the more expensive EF 50mm/1.4 is a bit better) - get this lens. It will make you happy. ;-) |

| Has more than what you would expect from a point and shoot camera. Photos have been rewarding. I happen to loose the charger at the airport, the replacement charger is quite expensive. |

| This backpack is a great alternative to higher priced, name brand bags. It is very well constructed with heavy duty zippers. In my backpack I carry my Canon 40D, 1 wide angle lens, a 70-200L and a small video camera and still have plenty of room. I'm very happy with the purchase. |
