| Just bought and set this up today, replacing a very similar 3-yr-old Canon that worked well, but had just developed print-head problems. Set up was easy, but I had to run set-up twice because it stopped when it encountered the old version of ScanSoft OmniPage - I had to remove that program manually, then start over (and the second time took longer, about a half-hour for the second un-install and re-install). | Title pretty much sums it up. It is too large. And it does take a little while to load up after turning it on. Everything else works really well though. And the features are very nice. |

| I bought this scanner because we had slides my father had taken in the 1950's in France & Germany when he was in the service, and I wanted to get those pictures into our digital library. The scanner is easy to use, does a decent job, we ended up with better than I had thought we would for picture quality, and everyone is loving being able to look at the slides that heretofore were relegated to a box in the attic. | This is the first Canon printer I have tried. I needed to get a printer that could scan and save in PDF format. I'm so pleased with the quality and performance with this printer. It's not the fastest, but plenty adequate. While I didn't buy it to print pictures ( I use my Epson 1800 for that), I tried to print some, and was amazed at the results...very true color and quality was surprising. The price was great and I would certainly recommend this printer!!! |

| I am replacing an Epson printer/scanner, and the Canon MP610 beats it hands down. My primary reason for getting rid of the Epson was the cost of the ink - I was spending WAYYYY too much money on ink cartridges that only lasted a short while. The MP610 has better print quality and is much more thrifty because of lower ink costs. Scanning quality is excellent, but I had no complaints about this on the Epson. The best feature of the MP610 is two sided printing - saves paper.

| I was having problems with my other printer (HP) so I got this one. It is small and fits just right on my desk. It was very easy to install and use. Don't forget to order a USB cable because you will need it to use the printer. It is not the fastest printer, but compact, which makes it very convenient. |

| I find the Epson Scanner easy to use and makes the scanning of the slides and photos an enjoyable task. The Photo Shop Elememts program enhances old slides and photos to better that original quality. I highly recommend it. |
