| The tripod with flex legs is a nice design. However the threaded section that screws into the camera body is too long.
This does not allow the base of the camera to pull down flat against the top surface of the tripod the way it should. I have tried to resolve this matter directly with Flip but they have not been helpful. |

| I received the tripod and quickly saw that it was not of a very high quality construction. I had concerns of how long the grips that hold the leg extensions would hold up,and I did not like that there is a removable piece that connects the camera to the tripod head. The lock mechanism for that piece also concerned me that it may not hold up over time. I guess the tripod is functional for the price but the value may not hold up if you need to buy a replacement tripod. |

| I also had this tripod come up while purchasing a camera and figured it would suffice until I decided to get something better. I was very suprised with the quality of this item. It's light, compact and fucntions very well. Javajunki's review is spot on.

| I've been looking for a monopod for quite some time as no one in my area carries them. I've always been partial to Canon anyway since that's what I learned with, so I figure you can't go wrong with their monopod. I used this on my honeymoon all over Nashville and I've got to say, it's very sturdy and reliable. | I have never had a smaller camera and I figured I could just prop it up anywhere to take videos but this tripod makes it so much easier to take those shots when you want everyone in the picture, It is very stable and you can adjust it very easily. | Its built strong, and sturdy!.Nice hard plastic legs that open with 3-clips for short to long. I think the coolest thing about this tripod is the dovetail plate.! So cool that when you release the pin you can swivel 360 degrees, up/down, right/left! This comes in very HANDY!

| Product arrived neatly packed. I was pleased with it. It is very versatile and can be extended to a great heighth. The only thing that detracts is the tighening bolt for the main camera platform. It can't be locked down as tight as I would want. This allows it to slip if much force is put on it, so you have to be careful when using it to keep the camera in place or to not strip out the bolt when tightening.
