| Before my baby was born, we bought a Flip Ultra. It's been so great for capturing little moments with my daughter. We've caught some of her first smiles and coos, first laughter, bathtime, and so many more moments. It's so nice to have a little camera that we can just carry in a pocket and have ready in an instant. If you're thinking about getting any of the Flip products, I would highly recommend one.

| This is an excellent camera. It is so easy to use. The captured video does not capture ghost movements, if you move the camera quickly to record. I bought one for myself, and one for my 6 year old granddaughter. She was able to master the controls, and record 48 personal videos. The playback on the TV was excellent. The resolution was superb. | Let me start off by saying congrats to Sanyo on this one. I have owned many Sanyo cameras. This one really does perform better than I thought it would. I have had a Sanyo HD700 and was never really happy with the pics or video from it. Also the focus was really slow. I also have a Sanyo HD1000 and no it is not better than that but the focus is much quicker on this Sanyo E2. The Sanyo E2 is also water proof to 5foot and is much smaller than the HD1000. | I had expected a lot from this camera after seeing so many good reviews about the same, but that didn't really happen. Every picture i have taken with this camera has some kind of blueish-ness in it and the switch that moves from still picture to movie mode didn't work very well either. Also while reviewing the pictures/videos it took a long time to fetch them from the flash memory card. So, in short i'm not really happy with this one. |

| You can not base your review of the camera only on the editing software that comes with the camera. All HD camera's come with just basic editing software which do not take advantage of hardware.
I purchased this camera 2 weeks ago, connect directly to my HD 65" and the picture is incredible. I use Vegas Pro and the editing is great, burn to DVD DL with Blue Ray format and the play back is just as great. Great camera for the price. I do have one question. | I had 4GB card free with purchase of this Garnet colored camcorder. It lasted about 1.1 hours in SP quality. I took this to some caverns at Shenandoah National Park and the videos turned out to be OK. Battery life was better than my team caver's Sony flash camcorder. In addition to being so cute and made in Japan (hard to find these days), it is quite impressive in low light settings. I just used easy mode in the caves. | I got this camcorder so my husband would have something else to use instead of his camera phone for short little videos. I love how small it is and that it is so easy to use. When my 19 month old is doing something we don't want to miss you can very easily grab this and start filming immediately. I have not tried downloading any photos/videos to the computer. I am using the dvd-r for most of the video because there is no having to download it's right on the disk and I can pop it into my dvd player.
