| Pros: Easy to install around camera. Gives access to all camera features. Takes sharp, clear pictures under water or in air. Has helpful warnings about what to watch for to ensure no leaks. Though obviously quite a bit larger than the naked camera, still surprisingly compact. Looks durable and well-made.

| The sony waterproof case worked great we used it for snorkeling in Cozumel and the Bahamahas. Then in Belize we used it on our cave tubing excursion. took great pics and video, cant speak for deep water because we where no more than 12 - 15ft. deep at the most.It did take good pics both in and out of the water. It was sometimes hard to see the screen underwater but that was probably more my goggles than the case. Flash still works and seems to do a good job with the difuser that is included.

| Took this case diving the other day, takes fantastic pictures and worked great to 100 feet. Didn't try any deeper. One big flaw. Because the housing extends forward around the barrel of the camera, the bottom right hand one third of your picture does not get exposed to the flash. Not a real big deal because the camera takes pretty good pictures without the flash even at 70 feet, but if you're looking to do any serious underwater flash photography, I'd recommend an external strobe.

| Quality product! I think the price was a little high considering its just a case. I've used it 5 times taking it to 93 feet at the deepest and not a drop of water or condensation inside. It would be nice if I could read what buttons are for what on the back of the case but the letters are clear and its hard to see underwater. My camera is new too so I'm not totally familiar with the buttons yet. |

| Used it to scuba in Australia. It went as low as 60 feet without any problems. Canon also sells weights for this housing to achieve neutral bouyancy so the camera won't float while you scuba. I didn't buy them and really don't feel that it is necessary. The camera wasn't floating like a balloon in the saltwater. It might be slightly buoyant in salt water but not that bad.
For the SD770IS with the attached WP-DC23 housing Canon says you would need one weight to achieve neutral buoyancy. |

| This case is GREAT! I used it when I went to Niagara Falls and my camera stayed perfect, plus our pictures came out amazing. While other people had their cameras in plastic bags, I knew mine was safe in this case. I also used this case while snorkeling in Hawaii, we got great shots of the fish and ourselves. Definitely worth the money! |

| I bought this for my Sony HD HDR-SR12. I went on vaca to Mexico and wanted it mostly for snorkeling. it worked great except for the minor fogging of the front interior of the sports pack. This was easily fixed with the use of the anti fog lubricant that it comes with. ( i forgot to apply before i used it the the 1st time) But besides that its awesome. Links up perfectly with my macbook and Imovie and Idvd. |
