| I use this flash for my Nikon D300, it is a good flash with all kind of functions that I need.
I been use it when I shot some wedding pictures and for most indoor use with my 24-70mm lens. Compare to the SB-800 speedlight, the price of the SB-600 speedlight is more than great and the function is enough. It is just like you buy a 50mm f1.8 when you want to buy the 50mm f1.4 lens. |

| Works great! I love this flash, although still learning how to use it. I certainly don't understand the ins and outs quite yet. This is certainly worth the extra expense in my opinion. I would suggest a diffuser, however. |

| Use this with a Sto-Fen diffuser and have had great results with my XSi. Really simple use, but am craving more and will invest in the 580 EX II in addition to this to take advantage of better lighting options. Don't get me wrong though, MUCH better than the built in flash! |

| I am a wedding photographer. We have 3 Nikon SB 80's and 3-SB 800 units used weekly for the past 4 years. We also have 3 Canon 580 units which have worked flawlessly.
This year, I switched back from Canon to Nikon, and when the SB 900 appeared, I purchased it for my new Nikon D300 and D200 cameras. The first unit was Dead on Arrival. | While the $320 price seemed steep at first, I actually get plenty of value out of this flash. I have four of them now. I use them on my camera, as well as mounted on a light stand. I shoot them through translucent umbrellas, bounce their light off walls, and I am acquiring an arsenal of modifiers to manipulate the light.

| I bought this meter because I bought a manual focus lens for my Nikon D50. This camera body does not meter with the old manual lenses. After a week of using it, I can say it performs well. It offers incident and reflected measurements. However, to switch from incident to reflected, you have to take off the lumisphere and mount the lumigrid. | Just got this and although it does diffuse, it doesn't do it all that noticeably. I realized quickly after trying to install it on my D50 that it isn't designed to go all the way in, presumably to avoid damaging the contacts on the shoe. It will do for the convenience of fitting into my bag when I don't want to mess with a full flash unit. As for full function - it's best used for reducing over-exposed highlights on your subject, but it won't completely disperse the light from the flash. |

| the speed light is a very good flash. but it was not as powerful as i needed. I used it with canon S5 IS. It is very much a keeper.The size, power and batt. use make it very useful. |

| I have been an amateur SLR shooter for a while now. This past summer I picked up the AF360 after taking many disappointing shots at a wedding and crushing my K100D's batteries using the pop-up flash.
