| Before my baby was born, we bought a Flip Ultra. It's been so great for capturing little moments with my daughter. We've caught some of her first smiles and coos, first laughter, bathtime, and so many more moments. It's so nice to have a little camera that we can just carry in a pocket and have ready in an instant. If you're thinking about getting any of the Flip products, I would highly recommend one.

| I had expected a lot from this camera after seeing so many good reviews about the same, but that didn't really happen. Every picture i have taken with this camera has some kind of blueish-ness in it and the switch that moves from still picture to movie mode didn't work very well either. Also while reviewing the pictures/videos it took a long time to fetch them from the flash memory card. So, in short i'm not really happy with this one. |

| You can not base your review of the camera only on the editing software that comes with the camera. All HD camera's come with just basic editing software which do not take advantage of hardware.
I purchased this camera 2 weeks ago, connect directly to my HD 65" and the picture is incredible. I use Vegas Pro and the editing is great, burn to DVD DL with Blue Ray format and the play back is just as great. Great camera for the price. I do have one question. What was included within the ... | I think this is the best you can do without going into the prosumer +$2000 level. Here is what sets it apart from the average cheap camcorder:
1. The ability to shoot progressive frames. This is invaluable for those filming for the internet. Plus, progressive frames compress better; one of the reasons store bought movies look better than average joe's. 2. The ability to white balance. | this one star is for amazon, the item i received was with many scracthes around the body, with cables unhooked, even the battery for the remote controller was placed in. this is a definitely used camera. how could this happen from such a big amazon, unbelievable. i would not bother if they had told me this is refurbished item, but they sell it as brand new. the item could even be defective I do not know. |

| Just got this camera and went traveling with it. It's about the same size of my old Canon A40 but not as heavy. The battery life is fantastic and can be charge via your computer. The photos turn out good. Video is good too. An all around, versatile, camera in my book. |

| I was using a MiniDV camcorder and decided to up grade. I'm not a big Canon fan, mostly because of price but I sure do love this camcorder. There is A LOT of great features on the HG21 and yes it does have a viewfinder (the HG20 does not). Its very simple to use and you have a lot of storage with the 120GB hard. I love shooting in the 24p cinema mode. I definitely would recommend it! If you don't need a huge hard drive or viewfinder than go with the HG20 its exactly the same and you will save some $$$. |
