| I'm not sure about the circumstances of the previous reviewer, but I have only had positive results from using Program. I have 2 dogs and a cat, all of which suffered terribly with fleas last summer. I thought I would get a jump on the little buggers this year, so I started all the animals on Program first thing this spring. | I have used this product on 2 dogs now. One being a pug, the other a rat terrier. Both times have been a success. The biggest success so far was the pug. She had fleas when we got her and we put this on her and within 15-30 minutes, the fleas were coming off of her dead. The other thing was that this stuff repels mosquitos. That is not a lie. Our patio has frequent blood-suckers and they will bother you and make you come inside. But we took the pug out with us several times and never had ... Read More: |

| I recently discovered that my poor doggies were infested with fleas! My bf and I decided to bathe them (cause I noticed that they were scratching more and that they smelled) and we killed about twenty five fleas (using Hartz flea and tick shampoo) off my 8 pound Chihuahua and at least fifteen off my sixteen pound Italian Greyhound. | We've had the two cats on it for 3 months now and can find no fleas while combing the cats. When we started we were getting about 7 fleas a day. That lasted almost 2 months. Now they are gone.
We're going to keep giving the cats this for at least another 4 months in case there are any "late hatchers" in the rugs. |

| I tried Advantage after using another well-known topical brand that worked great on a previous dog, but didn't work well on my new dog. It is rare that I find a flea on my dog now; the occasional one is always one from the yard after she's been rolling in the grass or it's been raining. In conjuction, I bathe her weekly or every 10 days or so, and it still works great. It's well worth the money to not have fleas in the house or on the dog and then on me! |
