| This product was useless to me. The prongs of the comb are covered with plastic balls that were so close to each other that it prevented the comb from going through the cats' fur. When I tried to angle the comb in an attempt to get at the fleas the cat got a shock. I had one a long time ago that had no plastic on the ends of the comb and it worked perfectly. I am unable to find that type of flea zapper any more. For me this was a total waste of money.

| We've been using Advantix for a long time and it works great BUT recently we had an emergency with our small dog.
I came home to find her eyes swollen shut. We'd done nothing out of the ordinary except apply her latest dose of Advantix the night before. We thought perhaps she had rubbed some on her bed and then gotten it in her eyes. | The K-9 advantix works similarly to other expensive flea treatments. I switched to K-9 advantix when my other flea treatment quit working after 3 years. The vets say my dog may have developed immunity to the other flea treatment since he was on it so long. The only problem I have with the K-9 advantix is that it seemingly does not keep all of the bugs off. | Our 2 puppies got it this year and, as far as I can tell, they are bug-free so far. I can't say whether this is because of Frontline or because there are no fleas in surroundings but, until evidence to the contrary emerges, I will give Frontline the credit.
