| This was the only barrier that fit in a 47" wide opening, looked good, and is sturdy enough to withstand a jumping poodle puppy. If a pressure mounted gate won't work for you, or you don't want to install hardware in an opening, this is the gate for you. |

| I have several brand of gates of this sliding variety, and this is the only one where the 2 "sides" come apart from each other entirely. It's as if the metal brackets are not fitted correctly (or not the right size), because depending on how you slide the sides, the 2 pieces come completely off the track. This also happens if someone takes the gate down and stores it on its "side." It works fine and looks fine if you handle with care, but I would not purchase this particular brand again. |

| I have had this up for only a half a day and I am about to replace it.
The base stands 2 plus inches on the ground which is a clear tripping hazard, and for the lock to work properly, the fence needs to be adjusted exactly - and even then I dont trust it to stay like that. It took me awhile to play with the extensions before I manage to even get it close to the locking position and I am in construction. It is also very loud when it shuts, and may wake or disturb a sleeping baby |

| This is just what we were looking for to keep our Golden Retriever out of the bedroom (where he can't seem to resist stealing slippers!) Good looking, operates well.
Pretty easy to install... My non-standard door opening was right on the edge of the range for using or not using the doorway spacers provided, so I had to drill a couple of extra screw holes to get it to fit just right... but that was no trouble at all. |

| Good travel gate for smaller openings. Twist and fold mechanism makes setting up and putting away pretty easy, but be careful not to do it wrong or it could get jammed. I had one gate of two that this happened to right out of the box. Sent it back as faulty as the other gate was fine, but now I'm always careful just in case. |

| The reason I purchased this was because I am keeping my cousins 2 dogs while he looks for a place to live that he can keep them. He is going through a divorce. I needed something to separate them from my 4 cats. The dogs Hate cats and are very jealous of them. The gate has worked great. The dogs bump their heads against it, push against it but it stays put. If it can keep them under control, a baby would be nothing.

| Just what we needed for our wide opening. The package arrived safely; installation took me about 20 mins. Since I was securing it to drywall on one side, I had to use my own drywall anchors as they were not included -- no big deal. Most of the install time was just finding the anchors, the right drill bit, and marking the walls. It's been up for a week and has kept our 2 puppies safely corralled in the kitchen. We just step over it rather than swing it open. |
