| We bought this gate to go in front of our wood stove. It fits my hearth perfectly. It is big enough to go completely around it. As a play yard it is small. But the door works great and the metal is durable. Love it. |

| We purchased this to replace our old, battered dog door. The difference is incredible! This dog door is well made and also looks nice. Basically it made our old dog door seem like an open window... the floor is much warmer now and so is the whole room. We have a german shepherd, boxer and mini poodle - the shepherd is on the larger side and had us a little worried she wouldn't fit through, but she did. | It's about time someone came up with a good solution for those of us who don't want to drill into our banisters!!! This makes my Kidco gate super sturdy and someday when I'm no longer in need of gates I can just whip it down, store it away, and my banisters will be just as lovely as always! |

| I bought this gate when I had my son, who is now 3. It just broke this week, and I'm buying it again, for my daughter who's 1. This gate is great for the price. The clear panels let you see what's going on on the other side. There is nothing for little ones to use to climb. And I find it pretty easy to move from the top of the stairs to the bottom during the day. |

| wish we had found out about this pen earlier. We love the fact that we can move this pen anywhere in our house. The pen is very sturdy and flexible at the same time. Our shih tzu thinks he has moved into the White House compared to his crate. |

| The ramp works just fine but the no-skid covering put on top of the ramp is cheap and tears very easily. My golden scratched, and ripped it immediately with his nails. |

| I bought this for the top of my stairs to protect my toddler and allow my cat to pass through. It's a well-built gate, and the little cat door has a nice lock to allow you to choose to keep it open or closed. But this gate did not work for my purposes. First, it requires screwing caps into your walls to hold the pressure-mounted sides. I don't think that's clearly advertised here. I bought a pressure-mounted gate to avoid screwing into our walls! | The latch doesn't overlap the gate by much so it doesn't secure well. The extensions are a pain to install and just as much so to take apart to return the pieces. Avoid the headache and don't buy this product. |

| We installed this gate at the top of our basement stairs just before our daughter turned 1 in August. I installed it without my husband's help, and it was very straight forward. It seems quite sturdy, and it closes with a click so you can be sure it is latched. This gate was recommended by Consumer Reports, and I missed all the reviews about the locking mechanism. | No.... not that kind of backwards.... I mean mix the directions around. Instead of connecting the two pieces of the gate together leave them separate until the very end. Make sure and MEASURE THE OPENING FIRST to make sure the final gate will fit. Then use the templates, install the hardware into the walls (dont forget to put the locks in on the unlatching side so the gate swings the correct way), put the plastic corner pieces on the gate so you can attach it to the hardware(dont tighten the slides all the way).
