| Gate was not packaged well. Wood grain on obvious 45 degree angle. (wood should have been discarded by manufacturer) Wood broke during shipping. Glad it broke during shipping rather than while installing. I chose to be refunded, because I was not happy with tiny plastic latch. I am concerned that slight missallignment will cause the gate not to latch. |

| This gate fell several times. I ended up sending this gate back after it hurt my daughter's foot. The Evenflo SimpleStep, although an unattractive taupe color, is less expensive and of much better quality. |

| We have a doorway between the front room and kitchen that must be a non-standard width, because the gate alone is a smidge too small, but when we added the extension, the whole unit wouldn't fit in the doorway. It would be better design if there was an overlap of about 1/2" between the two sizes. |

| This is a good baby gate. We purchased it for the large opening between our living room and kitchen to keep our 25lb 8-month old crawling baby out. It is anchored into the trim (not drywall) and it is very secure. He is able to pull up on it, tries to bulldoze it, and pushes on the mesh and still no problems. It takes a little while to get the technique down for opening and closing the door, but its great not to have to climb over it (although you can if your hands are full). We also had to get ... | This door seemed great. I had to work with my cat for a while to train him on pushing the plastic flap, but eventually he got it and it was working well. I use it to connect a window on a closed in porch that has his kitty litter in it, to the kitchen. If I keep the kitty litter in the house, the dog will eat it. | After purchasing this play yard, I have been very pleased with it's operation. I use it as an area for my toddler to play feeling safe and secure. Easy assemply, extensions work great to make the area large, and the added toys are a great touch. Definitely recommend. |

| This gate works very well at the top of the stairs. Our problem is not with the gate, it's with our stairwell. The top of our stairs is uneven due to the molding on the walls. We had to add wooden shims to make the wall even with the molding in order to install the gate. Once installed, however, the gate is nice and secure. There's no need to spend the extra money on any of the other top of the stair gates. I would definitely recommend this product. |

| I purchased this item to keep my furry boys (dogs) from my kitchen. I have a Lab and Border Collie so I purchased the tall gate. The gate works very well. I like the automatic closure - I wish these would have been around when I had small children. The only catch.....my Border Collie found a new way to the kitchen - he jumps on my dining room table and fits through a very small serving window. | This gate not only looks good but is easy to use and does not damage the walls. Since I am using this at the top of the stairs I wanted something that would be easy and not be a danger for someone to fall down the stairs while trying to open or close- Its so easy to use its easier to open than it is to try to step over. |

| This is the only gate that we could find that was; reasonable priced, could span >70", provided a pass through door, was easily removable, expandable, and will adapt after the children are more mobile (such as gaurding the fireplace.
I am especialy impressed with the quality construction and ease of installation. Excellent!! |
