| Unfortunately, this cat door has two design flaws. One is that if installed according to the directions and the design, the tabs that lock the door directionally and/or completely, appear to be backward. Those tabs are quite small as a result. We installed the inner part of the door backwards, and made a frame for it so that the larger locking tabs were usable. | I am pleased with the performance of the gate that I recently purchased. It spanned the gap very well for us as we had just moved into an upper apartment. I have a one year daughter; she is not able to push this thing around at all.
The only thing I felt that was not taken into consideration was the fact that if you have a large baseboard lining your floor, the gate will actually end up having to be elevated from the floor, regardless it still work phenomenally. |

| We've had this gate at the bottom of our stairs for two years. It has rubbed the paint off of the wall but that didnt really bother me (it is tight against the wall). Also, my son got his leg stuck in it last year when trying to climb over it. He was two. He never tried to climb it again. I figured that would have happened with any gate with vertical bars.

| This product is GREAT, I just wish I had purchased it sooner. When you get it, it may seem like it will curl up on itself, but it just needs to be set up against it's natural curl. I love this product and the convenience. What I found helpful was the instructional video on the website found at (greatwallplaypen) just put the front and back stuff to get to the site. Once you get the hang of using this product you will be bummed you didn't buy it sooner. There are so many uses for it. |
