| I didn't really need this. I'd just bought a Mac, which was incompatible with my Visioneer flatbed scanner, but I still had my Windows PC and Windows as an option on my Mac. But since I could get an additional rebate through my new job, I thought, why not?

| I purchased these speakers about a week ago and they are everything the specs and reviews say they are. The slimline top speakers fit nice and neat (and look incredibly good, look at that sweet design!) on top of my desk next to my iMac. The sound quality is exceptional, and being able to control the subwoofer's power is a great feature, so you can get it at just the right tone that fits your hearing the best. | The Kingmax 8GB super stick is better than its predecessors, in that it has a hardened form factor. I can't vouch whether it is washer-dryer safe, but the casing does seem sturdier than other models. According to Vista, its memory write speed is 6-7 mbps - the packaging says only 3mbps write, so I'm happy that they understated the speed (or Vista's metrics are inaccurate - unthinkable!). | I have used LaCie hard drives for years, and have always found them to be reliable. This one seems to be no different, except for that it is noisier than any of the other LaCie drives I've worked with. Perhaps that is because of the RAID configuration. If you need a drive that makes minimal noise (for things like audio recording), I would not recommend this drive. If not, it is a great drive with lots of space and connection options for the price. |

| If you have an older system like I do, this is the flashdrive for you. It operates on Windows98 ME.I loaded all my picture and music files on it and cleaned up my computer memory. That was like dropping a USB cable into a strong cup of coffee. It works by dragging and dropping. So cool. |
